Day one (2 hours)

So today I went to go meet up with my mentor, Mr. Nate Nevado. We were together for 2 hours. He showed me around the campus. He introduce me to people, there was alot of them. He had two appointments that day and I was there in the back taking notes. He really showed me a different side of a counselor. I thought counselors just sit and type things on their computer. He was connected with so many people that can help his students. Those two hours I was there, I wasn't bored at all. It was fun and a great experience for me. Day one of this is a success. .

Fiscal Cliff Response

A.) The Republicans and the Democrat reached an agreement when the Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell had the final talk with Vice President Joe Biden. The senator agreed with the president when they had the last talk. They now increased the tax for the people that make $400,000-$450,000 up to 39.6 percent, it used to be 35 percent. This mark a victory for President Obama. The Republican and the Democrat are now in the same page when it comes to tax increase.

B.) In the beginning of my search, I first typed "Fiscal Cliff problem position Republican AND Democrat". I couldn't find anything so i reworded it to "Fiscal Cliff problem Republican VS Democrat" . I also didn't find anything. The last thing i did was "Fiscal Cliff Republican VS Democrat" Then I found the website that i used to answer the problem.
