Good hands

Another 2 hours done 19 more to go.
So today I went to go see Mr. Nevado again. He had three appointments that time I was there. It was nice and cool. He told me how at first you're slow with you stuff and you progress through out time. He compared it to basketball which made me more understand it. Students in there been telling me that I'm in the perfect hands. Honestly, I think I am too because he is really teaching me so many things about counseling and how I can help out student or just people in general. He also told me that it wasn't easy to get where he is right now. There was sometimes that he wanted to give up but he always look at the price. Like he said "Nothing comes easy".  I love doing this, I'm really learning how I can help out my friends and family and the future students that I would be helping. Thanks to Mr. Nevado! I am really in good hands.

Mentor 2

Today I went to my mentor and it was just AMAZING! He had three appointment today and the students didnt mind if I stayed. Those three students had different personality so I learned how counselors work with different kind of students. One of the students were kind of shy. One of them was really open and he was comfortable talking to Mr. Nevado but the last one he was really shy. I learned different things today. I learned the difference between what and why. When you ask a person a "why" question it make it seem like you're more aggressive. Today was just amazing. I was with my mentor 330-530 and it was just learning experienced every min. From we went to his meetings through our walk way to the career center.
